We are one of the professional plastic mold manufacturers, among which Chair Moulds are one of our common products. Every product produced has related requirements, and the chair mold is no exception:
Basic information and requirements of chair mould
The steel of the plastic chair mould is usually P20 or 45 steel. After forging, CNC milling rough machining, quenching and tempering to 28~30HRC (usually without nitriding), CNC milling finishing and other processing procedures. The plastic of the injection-molded chair is usually PP, and sometimes calcium carbonate (not more than 20%) is added to make the product look plump without a miniature. PC (completely transparent) plastic can also be used, but a large number of bubbles may be generated due to poor exhaust and other reasons, but the cost is higher, and the surface treatment of steel is also different.
Plastic chair molds are usually large gates with cold runners, which are ejected by a thimble. If it is ejected by a manipulator, the ejection is upward, and if it is ejected automatically, it is turned downward.
The chair mould has several special requirements:
1. The Huff line is better, don't rub your hands;
2. The exhaust effect should be good, otherwise the plastic products will have black spots, etc., which will burn seriously;
3. The stacking effect is better. Stack 10 chairs vertically without tilting. When stacking, the distance between the legs of the two chairs should not exceed 60mm, and they should be easy to separate after stacking;
4. The mold should be highly polished, because the chair is a daily necessities, so there should be no burrs, burrs, etc. to avoid scratching the skin.
