That dullness does not mean that the product is old or damaged. It is the copper’s nature that makes it look that way. The reason behind that is copper is a natural metal made from 100% copper. It is not painted or coated to look like a fresh piece. As copper is in its unfinished state, it will patina over time, and this is called the patina process.
