The Return To Duty Process With Directly Observed Therapy
When a driver fails a Dot alcohol/drug test, the driver is removed from the safety-sensitive functions. The driver must complete the return-to-duty DOT process before being eligible to return to the office or work program. The process is a series of steps that an employee must take after failing the DOT drug test given to the SAP.
