DraftKings Week 5 Monday Night Showdown Picks advice for Bro

Browns vs. 49ers is the second time in four weeks we get the joys of Cleveland on Monday Night Football. There are some interesting trouble spots in this game when constructing a DraftKings Showdown lineup to get some single-game NFL DFS action in, mainly the 49ers backfield. Tevin Coleman is supposed to play, meaning that at least one of Raheem Mostert, Matt Breida or Jeff Wilson Jr. sees a big Darious Williams Jerseys decline in production. We're staying away from them entirely.

We're also fading Baker Mayfield, whose struggles I in the week. We'll stick with our strategy that's found succe s of late -- playing a receiver as our captain. This week, it'll be Deebo Samuel, and we'll pair him with Jimmy Garropolo and George Greg Gaines Jerseys Kittle. On the Cleveland side, we commit to the short game with Nick Chubb and Jarvis Landry.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Browns at 49ers

CAPTAIN (1.5x points, 1.5x price): WR Deebo Samuel, 49ers ($9,900)

It seems the best way I've found to get near the top of a tournament on these one-game slates is to nail the correct receiver, and if they're a cheap one, all the better. Samuel is probably the most likely WR to make big plays for the 49ers, and since we don't feel great about the Browns' offense in this offense, Deebo is our guy.

FLEX:QB Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers ($9,800)

Gotta stack the Grant Haley Jerseys quarterback with our captain receiver. Garoppolo gets to face a Cleveland defense that allowed 337 pa sing yards in Week 4 and has been dealing with injuries all season, so there should be good volume here for Jimmy G.

FLEX: Jalen Ramsey Jerseys RB Nick Chubb, Browns ($10,200)

Chubb is coming off a career day against Baltimore, but we can't go away from him here. The Niners have allowed 4.6 yards per rush this season, on the worse end of that stat in the league. If the Browns do this right, Chubb should be the focus of their offense in this one, too.

FLEX: K Austin Seibert, Browns ($3,600)

The pricing in here makes sense to take one of the kickers, and I'm a bit higher on Seibert's kicking talent David Long Jr. Jerseys (along with the chances of the offense getting stopped short) than Robbie Gould at this point.

FLEX: WR Jarvis Landry, Browns ($7,200)

Landry cleared concu sion protocol and should be good to go, but maybe that injury through the week will have a few people looking elsewhere. Don't worry about that. Richard Sherman, although not what he once was, will have OBJ. Landry should have some space to operate out of the slot (Tyler Boyd had 10 catches in that role a few weeks ago).

FLEX: TE George Kittle, 49ers ($9,000)

Kittle should lead San Francisco in targets, and Jerome Bettis Jerseys Cleveland showed it could be burned by tight ends in Week 1 by Delanie Walker and Week 3 by Mark Andrews. Kittle is better than both of them, so he should be looking at a big game.
